Hi, I’m Olly Barker, founder of Dragonfly Wild Gardens. I am passionate about bringing ‘wild elements’ to everyday gardens to welcome in wildlife and bring greater variety and biodiversity back to British lands. I am able to provide a variety of gardening services, from general maintenance to pond installation and wildflower meadow creation.

I have a wide range of skills and experience, having worked as a gardener and landscaper over the years. I am also a keen naturalist, determined that modern-day living doesn’t have to mean we lose our wild places, and that our gardens can and should be on the front line as havens not only for us but the host of wildlife we live alongside.

I am committed to preserving and sharing the incredible native plant and wildlife species we share our home with for the sake of generations to come. I had the privilege of learning and engaging with the wildlife in my back garden as I grew up, and now being a dad to 3 I want my children and their growing generation to have the same. We can all play a part in ensuring that this once rich landscape flourishes again, and it starts in our back gardens!
